September 2023 marks a decade of innovation for Opticore.

A decade ago, our Directors Neil Taylor and Richard Greville embarked on a journey with a vision. Having worked together for a number of years in the networking space they set out to create a new IT, Networks and Project Management Consultancy that was different from the rest. Their emphasis was on people – highly skilled, highly motivated, and highly reliable people.

Today, as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary at Opticore we are proud to say that our brand continues to be synonymous with excellence. Join us as we take a look back on our journey.

What’s in a name? Well…. Everything!

Coming up with a name that represents what you do and how you do it, in one or two words can be one of the biggest challenges when starting a new business. When we broke it down, we knew we wanted to be the company that would help businesses optimise the core of their network. So, after much deliberation, ‘Opticore IT’ was born!

Our journey so far has been amazing, but naturally not without its challenges, as you would expect from any new venture. Teething problems, finding our feet, delivering on our promises, expanding our horizons; not to mention trying to deal with that pandemic that changed the way we all live and work. Each challenge has been an opportunity for growth, learning and finding better ways to serve our clients.
